Hello there! I’m Mary Anne. I am a game art intern and CSULB 2011 grad. This is where I gather my laughs, rants, and inspirations.
![2012.01.29—At the end of a bad day sometime last year, I had a dream of a unreal yet pleasant place. Everything I could see was bathed in twilight as the sun was about to drop below the horizon, and clouds shrouded everything on the ground save for a river snaking through an unknown canyon. The river was fed by the waterfalls that fell from the sky, and fields of giant mushrooms lined the river to absorb it, their caps peeking above the clouds. [My boyfriend] Alex and I climbed them until we couldn’t go anywhere else, and sat on their caps. I wasn’t sure if it was contemplation or contentment, but something about the dream felt good. And now that the dream is on canvas where that sun will never set, it feels really good.
